King Manassa Turquoise was mined at Manassa in south central Colorado. Manassa Turquoise is known for its blue-green to green color with a golden or brown. The Manassa Turquoise mine is currently not in production and as of today there are no plans to reopen it. The Manassa Turquoise mine was found by I.P. King and passed down to his son, and then to his grandson and current owner, Bill King. The Son and I do all the cutting work we never farm it out. We are Native American gem cutters, we are registered members of the federally recognized Native American tribe Wichita Indians out of Oklahoma.
